Jack of Plates: a form of armor comprised of small plates sewn between layers of cloth. This jack is based of of a 1560 jack and several other “double breasted” variants. Constructed of 12 oz hemp canvas and interlined with layers of 10 oz canvas. The plates are laser cut steel and sewn with heavy linen thread. The whole garment is finished in pieces and then assembled.
